A statue of Hachi now stands at Shibuya train station in Japan.<br/> The Capitan Story: Capitan was a dog that got lost days before his owners death. The dog was only found about a week after his owners funereal, when a family member went out to the owners grave site. Capitan was found whimpering, lying on his masters grave. To this day, Capitan still watches over his owners grave, as he has for the past six years.<br/> The Monty Story: Monty was a dog who dragged his 64 year old owner home after he got struck by lightning. <br/> The Bobbie Story: Bobbie was a dog that found his family after being left behind accidentally on a trip. He traveled over 2800 miles in six months on his own to find his family.<br/> The Bum and Shorty Story: Shorty was a dog in a small town that helped his owner out. He was an average dog an everybody loved him so much that when he died he was buried in the courthouse lawn. Bum, a stray dog, and Shorty’s best bud, stayed by his grave for days, refusing to eat or sleep. Eventually Bum died and was buried right next to his best bud Shorty.<br/> The Heidi Story: Heidi and her owner were hiking when her owner slipped and fell to her death. Heidi went down a 500 ft drop, and when she finally got to the bottom, she waited by her owners body until rescue teams showed up.<br/> Would cats do stuff like that?
